Our client is a leading gold mining company with assets worldwide.
Considering the development of its operations in West Africa, the Company is looking to recruit its Mill Manager.
You will be expected to planning, coordinating, communicating, directing, assessing and controling mill activities. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will benefit from the support of our Head-Quarter technical team. Key accountabilities include:
-Elaborating a strategy to achieve production targets in conformity with Company objectives,
-Defining and implementing the metallurgy process plan to improve ore recovery,
- Establishing production targets, ensuring mill throughput matches the mining plan,
-Making sure that the HSEC practices on site are in compliance with the global Company policy,
-Minimizing the risks associated with the transportation and the processing of the ore by compiling a training plan for employees as well as KPIs,
-Managing Mill budgetary related issues,
- Staying abreast of mining laws and safety regulations, and issuing directives to direct reports to ensure adherence to applicable rules and regulations.
With a University degree in metallurgy, in chemistry or equivalent, you have a minimum of 10-years experience with a proven-track record in ore processing at a supervisory and management level.
Because of the remote location and often difficult living conditions, you must have a stable personality along with a stable personal environment.
You'll possess fluent verbal and written French language skills. English is a plus.
Full expatriate package (residential status): net cash salary+bonus+allowances+school fees and insurances.
