About Our Client

Our client is one of the leading CRM/BPO services on the African continent. With more than 3500 employees, they are aggressively growing trough an acquisition program and aim to be more than 5000 employees by the end of 2017. Their headquarter is based in Mauritius with most of their operations in South Africa. They are actively seeking for a seasoned Contract/Commercial Manager to join their management team.

Job Description

Directly reporting to the Group CFO and liaising daily with the rest of the management Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • To provide a lead role in the delivery and monitoring of contract and client performance, including:
    • Managing performance against KPI's
    • Ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled
    • Managing clients, including handling any comments or complaints
  • To work in partnership with service subcontractors to help identify efficiencies and service improvements
  • Pro-active handling of client comments or complaints and acting as liaison with service subcontractors in this regard
  • Regular research and benchmarking
  • Drive process and contract efficiencies for allocated portfolio of contracts
  • Commercially manager all client performance
  • Ensure best value is delivered through the development and effective use of client performance management
  • Maintaining and updating contracts and tracking contract milestones
  • Design, develop, implement and refine contract and supplier performance policies that result in improved value for money for the company
  • Develop strong relationships with key clients and seek feedback

The Successful Applicant

  • Business degree (degrees in business law and business administration or accounting preferable)
  • Knowledge of contracting concepts
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Business and commercial focus
  • Performance & delivery focused
  • Can articulate operational excellence
  • Demonstrates customer insight
  • Very strong / Fluent English communication skills essential

What's on Offer

My client is offering a base salary plus bonus and will provide rellocation allowance (if needed).
