Our client is a global and leading solution provider dedicated to the Energy sector. As part of its development in Africa, we are looking to recruit a Country Sales Manager for Egypt.

Job Description

Based in Cairo, you report to the Commercial Director for Africa. Acting as Country Manager and Commercial Director of the Egyptian office, you are accountable for the overall business representation, development and achievement within the country.

In line with this role, you will be expected to fulfill the following assignments :

  • Ensure Group commercial representation locally and manage the team in place,
  • Drive existing client relationship and develop new business opportunities in the country mainly done by the mean of weekly tenders,
  • Take care of business contract negotiation, administration follow-up and regularly visit clients and prospects in order to assess their expectations in the scope of fine-tuned solutions,
  • Make sure that market innovations, competition and new strategic opportunities are daily tracked and cascaded to the headquarters,
  • Ensure solutions and products communication by the mean of public relations work and relevant event participation,
  • Be proactive with regards to market's marketing and sales needs to provide local tailored solutions,
  • Collaborate efficiently with the headquarters's team based abroad,
  • Provide thorough reporting to the Management.

The Successful Applicant

You have an Engineer or Master's degree in Management with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a B2B Senior Commercial role having evolved in Egypt within Energy international companies. Technical and Sales experience in Oil & Gas will be a distinctive advantage to succeed in this position. Strong hands on individual with strong commercial acumen, you are used to full autonomy in terms of day organization and business development. Your network in Egypt is important and you have outstanding communication and relationship skills. Finally, you are bilingual in Arabic and in English.
