My client is one of the largest retails groups in Southern Africa, the Executive, Mobility Systems will be based in the Johannesburg Head Office

Job Description

The Executive, Mobility Systems will be held accountable to:

  • Drive for reliable support for corporate Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiative.
  • Interface with other IT areas on the behalf of end users.
  • Monitor and utilize the service desk ticketing system to resolve client issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide problem resolution and service request actions for mobility related items.
  • Assist other IT areas with projects and technology upgrades.
  • Stay knowledgeable of the latest technologies, trends and strategies within the industry and company. Identify if they can be utilized to improve productivity or decrease costs.
  • Stay knowledgeable of local and corporate standards and procedures. Ensure all work adheres to applicable standards or procedures.
  • Conduct self-audits when requested to ensure adherence to IT standards and procedures.
  • Develop and conduct training for clients on hardware and software components in both written and verbal communications if requested.
  • Obtain a growing knowledge of the business departments' functions and processes.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as required.

The Successful Applicant

As teh Executive, Mobility Systems your experience will include the following:

  •  5+ years of experience as a Mobility Specialist or Mobile or Mobile Device Administrator in an enterprise environment.
  •  Citrix Worx for Mobile Application Management experience is required.
  •  Bachelor's Degree in a IT or related field is strongly preferred.
  •  Strong understanding of iOS and Android mobile operating systems as well as devices running these operating systems.
  •  Strong understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM) technology and goals.
  •  After hours support may be required at times for high priority issues and requests.

My client is offerring a cost to company ranging between R650 000 and R750 000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
