Job Description

The role of the HR Generalist int he Manufacturing and Production sector entails the following:

HR Delivery and Consulting - Recommend and implement ways of improving and/or optimising people management best practices, processes and systems

Talent Management - Provide support with the implementation of talent development programmes

Performance Management - Ensure that there is ongoing performance related communication between management and staff throughout the year

Industrial Relations - Inform and educate employees, managers and team leaders with regard to general labour relations policies, best practices and legislative requirements to minimise IR risks

Recruitment & Selection - Manage and oversee the recruitment process to ensure the right person/job fit. This includes advertising vacant positions, short listing suitable candidates and where required, conducting structured/standard interviews for recruitment purposes

The Successful Applicant

The suitable candidate for the HR Generalist role should possess the following:

  • Minimum 5 years generalist experience
  • Relevant degree
  • Experience working in the manufacturing industry - advantage
  • Prior experience working in multinational organisation
  • Ability to start immediately or at short notice
