Job Description

Key responsibilities of the Leaf Processing Coordinator include:

  • Managing production quality and integrity
  • Maintaining corrective action plans and tracking progress/completion
  • Performing equipment calibrations and maintaining records
  • Managing costs including provision of technical information necessary for the establishment of pricing forecasts
  • Planning and executing projects as well as continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provision of analysis of production and test results and recommending corrective courses of action
  • Transformation of product, quality analysis and product performance
  • Ensuring quality standards are applied

The Successful Applicant

The Leaf Processing Coordinator must be qualified with adegree in the engineering field. The candidate will have strong analytical and microsoft excel capabilities. The candidate will have the responsibility of assesing the quality of raw materials that are used in the processing activities. They will also ensure the output from these processes are of company standards and will be given the ability to introduce innovative projects to the organisation. The succesful candidate will preferably have experience in the processing of tobacco.

Market related package. Benefits include:

  • R472,900 basic
  • Provident fund (10% of annual base salary)
  • Medical Aid (up to ZAR 36,396 per annum)
