Job Description

The Recruitment Lead, based in Sandton comprises of the following:

  • Provide strategic guidance and lead the recruitment team in order to achieve effective and high quality sourcing in the talent market
  • Develop line managers ability to run successful interviews and improve the selection processes by providing technical training
  • Maintain close communication with key stakeholders such as functional heads and HR generalists in order to get an understanding of the business needs with regards to the workforce plan
  • Hands-on recruitment for critical senior positions by understanding the job requirements, searching, screening and sourcing candidates.
  • Will potentially be involved in the final stage interview process
  • Manage all external communications relating to recruitment such as advertisements and communications with executive search firms

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the Recruitment Lead within the pharmaceutical industry will be able to successfully manage the following:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement ability
  • Resource planning - manage the supply and demand for HR services
  • Understand the pharmaceutical environment and apply this knowledge to the business
  • Lead, drive, and implement change through the analysis of existing business problems and develop solutions to such issues
  • Data metrics and analytics - use standard company tools and methodologies to produce and interpret data to identify patterns trends and measure the impact of HR strategies
