My client is one of the most established multinational organisations specialising in the telecommunication and banking sectors with a vast service and product offering

Job Description

As the Sales Account Manager based in the Johannesburg office you will be accountable for the following:

  • Presenting and selling company related SIM cards and value added services to current and potential customers to meet set signed off targets. This includes following up on new leads, identify sales prospects and pursuing these opportunities

  • Preparing account management plans and strategic actions for customers

  • Preparing presentations, proposals and sales contracts. Develop product and market knowledge

  • Maintaining a close working relationship with the technical and order management teams in order to achieve their goals and responsibilities

  • Participating in IT and Telco marketing events such as seminars and trade shows
  • Preparing a variety of status reports: including activity, customer, monthly and budget reports

The Successful Applicant

As the Sales Account Manager, you will posses the following:

  • Must be professional with internal & external customers at all times
  • Proficiency in French would be advantageous
  • Must be able to provide input to team leaders to make decisions- must show leadership qualities.
  • Must be able to handle a pressured environment
  • Must have 2-4 Years market related experience in sales, including preparation of documents
  • Must be able to work well within a team setup
  • Must be able to find solutions to obstacles
  • Must ensure that he or she is a forward thinker and has ability to ensure that the company is not placed at risk when formulating proposal

What's on Offer

My client is offering a competitive cost to company between R500 000 and R600 000 CTC per annum plus performance bonuses, cell phone allowance, notebook and travel allowance
