About our client
Our client, an international telecom company, is currently looking for a Financial Controller for its african operations.

Job description
Reporting to the Country Manager, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the finance, accounting, tax and administration of the company. Responsibilities of the Financial will include:
- General accounting, monthly, quarterly, year-end closings,
- Maintaining and controlling company's financial records,
- Development of financial reporting and consolidation,
- Outsourcing and coordination with external service providers and auditors,
- Analyzing and reviewing operating budget and forecast,
- Assisting Country Manager in strategic planning,
- Developing and maintaining core banking relationships,
- Negotiation of credit facilities,
- Management of cash and balance sheet exposure,
- Foreign exchange risk management.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a highly competent and reliable finance professional with a minimum of 7 years experience, who has developed strong technical accounting and systems skills to date. With hands-on experience of the workings of a dynamic finance function, the successful candidate will have proved adaptability to emerging markets environments.
