About our client
Leading provider of vehicles and automotive solutions is recruiting a Country Financial Controller for its subsidiary in Morocco.

Job description
Reporting to the Regional Country Controller North Africa, your major job responsibilities will include the following:

- Day to day operations of the finance and accounting department;
- Timely monthly closing and reporting to the head office (flash, monthly reports, KPIs, Risk & Asset Management report and other ad hoc reports as and when requested by the head office);
- Managing import functions, costing and pricing of products in coordination with the relevant department;
- Managing retail and dealership accounting and financial issues;
- Provide strategic input for the short, medium and long term planning process
- Demonstrate leadership on financial and risk management issues
- Preparation of budgets, forecast, reforecast, variances and other weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports in coordination with the local operational management and as per the direction and guidelines of the Regional and Corporate Head Office;
- Manage, train, coach, supervise and evaluate finance and accounting department staff;
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and close and finalize the annual closing and the financial statements as per deadlines;
- Responsible for the corporate filings as per local regulations and legal and regulatory issues in so far as it affect company structure, taxation, filings and company administration matters including annual filings;
- Responsible for tax filings, assessments, coordination with tax consultants, tax planning and minimization studies and strategies;
- Coordinate with bankers and manage and arrange financing, letters of credits, funding arrangements and requirements and manage liquidity and cash flows;
- Ensure the adherence of Group Corporate Policies and Procedure;
- Coordinate with IT on technology projects and issues and ensure that optimal financial and other operating systems (having impact on financial information and reporting) are in place at all time with adequate controls.

Who we are looking for
- University graduate (Major in accounting, business administration or related subjects - MBA is an advantage)

- Holder of an internationally recognized professional qualification (CPA/CA would be preferred)

- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience preferable in a distribution and retail environment out of which the candidate must have a head of finance or equivalent experience of at least 3 years.

- Professional firm (Big-4 or Big-6) experience will be an advantage

- Fluency in written and oral French / English. Arabic is a plus.
