Job description
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Business Process Manager has the key role of optimizing and improving all terminal activities. You will be responsible for identifying and maintaining a pipeline of improvement projects and ensuring that these projects achieve their intended results. Your contributions in terms of mentoring, training and leadership will also build up general Terminal capability and competency.

Your main responsibilities include:
- Identifying and organizing projects, including assigning manpower and monitoring outcomes;
- Ensuring that management control structures are in place so that Process Excellence becomes an integral part of day-to-day management;
- Assisting the Terminal Management team to achieve and maintain the terminal's performance indicators;
- Contributing to internal communication about Process Excellence activities;
- Maintaining close links with other BPMs at APM Terminals to ensure best-practice sharing and project replication.

Who we are looking for
Certified Six-Sigma (Green Belt minimum), you have at least 7 years experience in a management role with in-depth knowledge of Container Terminals or related industry (airport, truck, fulfillment centers). Extensive experience in logistics and production processes/flows as well as a strong understanding of Lean principles are prerequisites. Analytical, structured, proactive, and a clear communicator, you are ready to take this facility to the forefront of best practices in the industry.
