About our client
Our client is a diversified group possessing an exploration permit for onshore oil and gas blocks in Algeria. It is seeking a Chief Financial Officer who will manage all financial aspects of the company and build in-house financing capacity. The CFO will actively participate in the company's fund raising activities in international capital markets.

Job description
Reporting to the CEO, you will develop, propose and implement the project financing and the commercial strategy of the company. You will also be expected to:
- generate funding operations and farm-in agreement,
- provide comprehensive analysis and financing solutions to the Executive Direction,
- assess funding risks and covering offers,
- manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and ensure document drafting,
- prepare operation budgets, define action plans and supervise the execution,
- undertake a strategic market review into the oil and gas sector in Algeria including identification of opportunities for profitable growth.

Who we are looking for
Prospective candidates will ideally have a Degree in Business Administration, finance or Oil & Gas economics. With a minimum of 8 years relevant experience in the Oil & Gas sector or in a related business, you have a significant expertise in structured financing operations, farm-in/farm-out, project financing, LBO, private financing, strategic purchasing...
Taking into account the local context, a personal or professional experience in an emerging market country will be useful for rapid integration.
Full term commitment, flexibility, self motivation, pragmatism, ‘Can do' approach, drive and initiative, will be highly required.
