Our client is a leading group of companies based in West Africa.

Job description
You are a key player in ensuring stability of the financial position by sounding cash management techniques. You will establish and continually review forecasts of interest rates to provide a basis for treasury management decisions.

As a Group Treasurer, you will:

- Participate in the development and formulation of Treasury (cash management) policies, methods and systems pertaining to the company's operations at stake,

- Secure the maintenance of Treasury records and register the timely generation of Treasury reports,

- Research methods aiming at specifying the best investment opportunities to be utilized by the company in order to manage its cash surplus in the best way possible within the policy limits defined by the Company,

- Monitor the cash and banks transactions on daily basis and keep his direct superior informed of the bank status,

- Liaise with the banks and discuss short and long term facilities arrangements for the company based on the cash flow analysis,

- Prepare historical and projected cash flow reports (Direct and Indirect methods),

- Develop good relations with banks for the purpose of improving bank terms, optimizing credit facilities and to minimize finance cost essential for normal course /expansion of the business,

- Develop/Forecast the Company's detailed investment/financing plans and participate in annual budget,

- Minimize the usage of overdraft/working capital facilities with the banks through proper control and ensure timely inflow of Cash from Account/Trade Receivables,

- Coordinate with Group Finance Director - for funding requirements of sister companies through internal short term borrowings,

- Supervise and control all Insurance Risk Management System accounting matters for the Company ensuring adequate insurance coverage is provided for capital assets,

- Review financing costs information, update the Company's Financial plan and monitors and review the economic analysis in support of financial decisions relating to the Treasury Division's overall responsibilities.

Who we are looking for
We are searching for a Senior Executive with a proven track-record as Treasurer for a multi-business company. You have the ability to provide solutions, the knowledge of cash management and financial accounting. You are familiar with banking procedures and credit processing.

Fluent in English. Arabic is a valuable advantage.
