About our client
Our client is a world-class group of several companies based in East Africa operating in the consumer goods sector, backed by significant private equity companies. Currently, the annual revenue is close to $ 20 Million and a projected $ 200 Million by 2015 through organic (new products and geographies) and inorganic growth. In constant pursuit of excellence, the group seeks a Group Chief Financial Officer based in Kenya.

Job description
You will be a key player in defining the Group's financial strategy, reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer and the Board. You will guarantee that the Group's financials achieve their functional and corporate goals, and ensure that they comply with international standards. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Providing direction, coordination and control of the businesses' financial structures in all aspects: accounting, finance, treasury, risk management, performance measurement, budgeting, forecasting, regulatory and tax.
- Leading global financial strategy planning, monitoring, management and reporting for the Group, with a central advisory role in the business units' investment policy.
- Dotted line responsibility to two country Chief Financial Officers - Kenya & Tanzania, and various controllers within other Group companies.
- Driving fundraising and leading negotiations with (debt and equity capital)
- Selecting & implementing a new ERP system
- Coordinating all investors relations (Board, current and potential equity investors)

Who we are looking for
We are searching for a Senior Executive with a proven track-record as Head of Finance for a company with multiple subsidiaries. You have the ability to conceptualize on a global level, which will enable you to understand and support the overall strategy of the business units. Thanks to excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, you will develop key working relationships with all managers, GMs and FDs. International experience, preferably in developing countries, is mandatory.
