They are seeking a visionary leader to join as a Board Member with expertise in Digital and AI.Description du posteAs a key member of the Board, you will bring your expertise in Digital and AI to help shape the organization's strategic direction and innovation agenda across Africa.Your insights will be instrumental in guiding the digital transformation and ensuring the ethical, impactful use of emerging technologies.In this role, you will be expected to:* Provide strategic oversight to drive successful digital transformation and AI integration across the organization. * Lead the development and implementation of forward-thinking digital and AI policies. * Ensure alignment of digital and AI initiatives with the organization's overall vision and objectives. * Advocate for the responsible, ethical, and sustainable use of AI technologies within the organization. * Monitor and assess emerging digital and AI trends to keep the organization competitive and innovative. * Contribute to risk management and data security frameworks in the context of digital transformation. * Collaborate effectively with fellow board members and executive leadership to foster a culture of innovation.Profil recherchéYour bring 10 years of experience as an established Board member, advisor, or seasoned executive in digital technology or AI-focused companies in Africa is highly preferred. Previous experience working as an executive advisor within a Digital, AI or FinTech sector is a bonus. Deep understanding of digital transformation, AI, machine learning, and data analytics . Strong knowledge of ethical and regulatory considerations in AI. Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and governance. Strong network within the digital and AI industry is an asset.
