Our client is a key global player in international education services. As part of its West African growth strategy, we are recruiting a Country Manager for Nigeria.

Job Description

Based in Lagos, you report to the Regional Director and are responsible for leading and developing Group's activities in Nigeria.

In line with this role, you will be expected to fulfill the following assignments:

  • Defining strategic and business plans aiming at delivering growth expectations for the country,
  • Defining a Sales & Marketing action plan to meet Group's business objectives,
  • Developing budgets, financial performance KPI's and establishing performance tracking mechanisms in line with Group standards,
  • Ensuring that all financial accounting obligations are met to the standards set by the Group and in line with local laws and accounting standards,
  • Managing operations and performance of Group's entity in Nigeria in line with the law, local regulations and the terms of contractual relationships,
  • Developing and managing service and performance standards to increase sales, productivity and customer satisfaction,
  • Supporting and coaching teams to ensure consistent sales, service and productivity standards are being achieved in the country,
  • Identifying opportunities for national expansion and build supporting business case for approval to setup offices across the country,
  • Participating in the planning, preparation and presentation of business presence at exhibitions, interview programs and roadshows,
  • Monitoring country political, socio-economic and competition trends,
  • Developing key institution's and stakeholders operations and needs to identify and create opportunities for mutual benefit,
  • Lead and manage the integration of compliance requirements into business practices and planning.

The Successful Applicant

You are degree educated with a minimum of 5 years proven success record at Executive Sales and/or Country Manager positions with international education sector in Nigeria. Experience in this sector and/or customer service oriented environment is an added value for this role and stakeholder relationship management will be highly appreciated. Entrepreneur and result-oriented, you have excellent leadership, planning, organizing, both sales and financial skills together with passion for providing outstanding customer focused services in a highly regulated environment and you are willing to travel within the country and abroad.
