With their proven background in the business, they have ensured the best tailor-made and high-quality logistics solutions to its global customers.Job DescriptionThe Logistics Country Manager is responsible to:Directing country sales efforts to maximise both volume and contribution levels and providing pricing policy and guidelines to assist in achieving the goals of the companyDevelop untapped markets and commoditiesEffectively manage and monitor sales performancesBuild strong customer relationships through regular visits and engagements, and excel networking to maintain a strong network of internal and external relationshipsImplementation and Management of company's organisational structure and processMaintain working knowledge of all governmental rules and regulationsProvide resolution of high-level concernsEnsure compliance of legal/tax aspects of the processes in the areaEnsure strict compliance of Local laws and regulationsEnsure strict compliance of company's Guidelines & PoliciesReview and guide progress of cost saving initiatives and operational prioritiesWork closely with other area Directors on process improvement and communication flowIdentification of additional cost saving potentialsKeep overhead costs under control / in line with budgetCoach and develop individual department managers and staff. Have regular performance reviews in line with company policy and management requirementsAscertain that the workload is balanced amongst the various disciplines within each departmentOversee credit policy to minimise the risk of bad debt lossEnsure that managers and staff are maintaining department standards, measures, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer service, striving for consistent improvementMonitor and maintain close contact with shared services (GSC & QSC) to ensure customer service performance level is achievedThe Successful ApplicantGood customer contacts / contacts with Local Authorities like customs / Terminals / ports and vendorsScheduled and regular customer visits and relationship managementRegular port visits and relationship managementKnowledge of main trade lanes, terminals and ICDsStrong teamwork and interaction with Sales, Customer Service, Operations and Business Administration departments, with a view to find synergies across departmentsManagement experience and good organisational skillsProven leadership experience, having successfully managed teamsExceptional ability to inspire and motivate peopleComprehensive knowledge of user application systems (FIS, SAM, MS Office)What's on OfferThis is a challenging opportunity for someone who is looking for an exciting challenge and ready for a transformation journey.
