Financial Accountant

· Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in line with IFRS requirements.

· Maintain general ledger with accurate transaction postings.

· Ensure timely reporting to meet the Group standards and deadlines.

· Assist the Financial Controller in the preparation of yearly budget, quarterly forecast and the 3-year plan.

· Manage debtors and creditors, including timely follow-ups and reconciliations.

· Ensure timely statutory submissions including CSG, PAYE, TDS, VAT, Corporate Tax and APS on MNS or other relevant regulatory bodies.

· Responsible for the accuracy, completeness and reliability of the accounting records and compliance with IFRS.

· Ensure internal controls are in place and that existing policies and procedures are adhered to.

· Monitor hotel revenues, costs, and key performance metrics and variance analysis.

· Assist Internal Auditors, External Auditors, Financial Institutions, MRA and other Statutory Bodies.

· Ensure supervision of payments, receipt vouchers, bank deposits, cash registers, bank and intercompany reconciliations.

· Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
