Job Description

Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely submissions.
Maintain general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations.
Collaborate with internal teams to analyse financial data and trends.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support audits when required.
Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to aid decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

A recognised qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Must be a registered CA(SA).
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
A strong understanding of financial reporting and tax regulations.
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
