About Our Client

The project includes an area of 11,000 square meters, a 30-meter-long quay, and an existing fleet of 12 self-propelled barges. It will be expanded to include a dry port in Yieh, which will serve as a logistical rear base and an intermodal road-river point. The extension also includes storage facilities (3,000 m² dry storage and 2,000 m² refrigerated storage) and a complete computerized system (booking, online payment, tracking, and pre-clearance).

Job Description

Develop and implement the preventive and corrective maintenance plan for the vessels.

Supervise technical teams (marine mechanics, electrotechnicians, hydraulic specialists).

Manage major repair works and emergency interventions.

Ensure vessel compliance with safety standards and maritime regulations.

Oversee inventory management of spare parts and marine consumables.

Coordinate with captains and dredging operators to schedule technical downtimes.

Maintain technical documentation and maintenance reports.

The Successful Applicant

Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree (Bac+3/5) in Marine Engineering, Naval Mechanics, or Marine Electromechanics.

Experience: 7-10 years in naval maintenance, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Knowledge: Marine diesel engines, propulsion systems, dredging pumps, marine hydraulics.

Qualities: Rigor, organizational skills, technical leadership.

Languages: Technical English preferred, French optional.
