Production Manager

The Production Manager's Role and Responsibilities include :

● Develop and implement production plans and schedules in alignment with company goals and customer demand.

● Oversee the entire production process and ensure efficient utilisation of resources.

● Collaborate with other departments to optimise work flows and improve overall plant efficiency.

● Manage and lead a team of production foremen, shift leaders, and team leaders.

● Manage budgets and monitor production costs, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures.

● Recruit, train, and develop production personnel, including foremen, shift leaders, team leaders, and operators.

● Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the production process.

● Analyse production data, identify areas for improvement, and continuously implement process optimisation's.

● Manage and resolve production issues and disruptions, minimising downtime and ensuring timely delivery.

● Manage and prioritise maintenance requests for equipment and machinery.

● Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and procedures across all manufacturing departments.

● Collaborate with the Operations director to align production goals with overall business objectives.

● Report production performance metrics and key issues to the Operations Director and Senior Management as required.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.

● Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing leadership role, preferably in metalworking or sheet metal industries. ● Strong understanding of production processes, quality control methodologies, and lean manufacturing principles.

● Strong analytically and problem-solving skills.

● Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, achieve production goals, and manage budgets effectively.

● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
