Projects Management

Leads the planning, execution, and delivery of capital projects, renovations, and facility upgrades, from concept development to completion.

Develops project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation strategies, and oversees project teams to ensure successful project outcomes.People management

Sets clear objectives for subordinates, delegates and follows up tasks assigned and develops medium term action plan

Heads regular meetings with teams on projects' follow ups, action plans s

Manages and rewards the team's performance fairly and effectively.Budgeting and financial management

Develops and manages departmental budgets for capital projects, ensuring alignment with financial targets and objectives.

Monitors spending, analyses variances and implements cost-saving measures to optimize resource allocation and maximize return on investment.Vendor and contractor management

Part of the committee that Selects, contracts and manages vendors, suppliers and contractors for construction projects.

Establishes performance metrics and ensures compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.Quality and Customer Service

Ensures that policies, processes and procedures are documented and communicated to everyone concerned

Heads meetings for review of processes and procedures

Adheres to quality standards, guidelines, and specificationsSafety and Health

Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices

Implements safety protocols, training programs, and emergency procedures

Adheres to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures

Participates in safety training programs

Profil recherché

Academic Qualifications, Certifications & Other Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or equivalent qualifications

10 years of experience in a similar position

Experience in the retail sector will constitute an advantage

Expertise in maintenance operations, project management and budgeting

Knowledge of regulatory requirements, safety standards and environmental regulations related to facilities management and construction

Conversant with MS Office Suite

Holder of a valid driving licenceSoft Competencies

Up-to-date knowledge of trends and best practices in the field of technical

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team

Committed to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Effective communication, negotiation, organizational and time management skills
