As part of the strengthening of its technical quality standards in Egypt, our client is recruiting a Quality Product Technologist to oversee sample development excellence and ensure production compliance across supplier sites. The role aims to guarantee that all products meet international quality standards from development stage through bulk production, while supporting suppliers in achieving consistent performance.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage the sample development process from tech pack review to PP approval
  • Review and comment on tech packs, construction details, and garment specifications
  • Follow up on prototype, fit samples, size sets, and pre-production samples
  • Participate in fit sessions and provide technical recommendations
  • Ensure alignment between development samples and bulk production standards
  • Conduct factory visits to monitor production lines and ensure quality compliance
  • Perform inline and final inspections when required (AQL standards)
  • Lead pre-production meetings with suppliers to clarify technical expectations
  • Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective action plans
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers to improve workmanship, construction, and finishing standards
  • Prepare technical and quality reports for internal stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 7-12 years of experience in garment manufacturing, with strong expertise in sample development
  • Solid experience handling tech packs, PP samples, fit approvals, and garment construction
  • Exposure to production line inspections and supplier factory visits
  • Strong knowledge of AQL standards and quality control processes
  • Experience working with international buyers or export-oriented manufacturers
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
