Our client is a leading textile supplier serving global fashion and apparel brands across the MENA region. Their mission is to deliver high-quality products while upholding the highest environmental, social, and ethical standards in manufacturing. As part of their commitment to sustainability practices and increase in demands for production and sourcing across North Africa, they are currently seeking a Quality Technologist to oversee their product development and quality process in Egypt.

Job Description

Reporting to the Quality & Product Director based in Europe, your responsibilities below are:

  • Develop and optimize textile products and processes to meet quality and performance standard
  • Monitor production lines to ensure adherence to specifications and quality protocols.
  • Conduct product testing and analysis for materials, fabrics, and finished garments.
  • Collaborate with production, design, and sourcing teams to improve product performance.
  • Implement and maintain quality management systems (ISO, OEKO-TEX, or equivalent)
  • Provide technical guidance and training to production staff.
  • Participate in new product development projects and ensure timely execution.

The Successful Applicant

Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a Quality or Product Technologist preferably from the Textile sector in Egypt
Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, or equivalent education
Excellent knowledge of textile material sourcing, dyeing, finishing and garment manufacturing processes>
Excellent familiarity with ISO standards, OEKO-TEX, Higg FEM and compliance systems is preferred
Proficiency in technical reporting, and quality measurement tools
Excellent fluency in English & Arabic is required
Willingness to travel frequently across Egypt and internationally
