The successful Senior Manager: Business Development will be responsible for:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies for the Media & Agency division
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve set targets
  • Negotiate contracts with potential clients and partners
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to design effective promotional campaigns
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure sustainable growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows

Profil recherché

A successful 'Senior Manager: Business Development' should have:



  • Business Operations & Development for South & East Africa:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for carrier accounts in the region.
    • Lead strategic and operational initiatives to meet product and revenue targets.
    • Track key business metrics such as revenue, acquisitions, engagement, and ensure targets are achieved.


  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Foster strong, long-term relationships with carriers and partners.
    • Act as a trusted advisor and influencer for carrier/partner strategies.
    • Plan and execute promotional campaigns in collaboration with carriers.
    • Lead client meetings, including presenting operational improvements, innovative ideas, and detailed analytical reports.


  • Project Management:
    • Proactively resolve issues related to carriers or products.
    • Implement industry best practices and provide insights on market trends for feasibility studies and product launches.
    • Benchmark against competitor products and propose improvement roadmaps.
    • Advocate for product performance internally and ensure timely implementation of modifications or feature updates.
    • Manage expectations across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
  • Must be comfortable with working in the office everyday.
