Job Description

Business Development

  • Achieve annual sales targets and expand market share across the region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, clients, and market segments.
  • Attend and represent the company at local and international conferences and congresses.
  • Manage sales activities and pipelines using Salesforce CRM.
  • Lead product training, demonstrations, and installations in collaboration with the local partner.
  • Oversee tenders, contracts, and customer engagement initiatives.



Strategy & Marketing

  • Support the launch of new business models and commercial strategies.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and associations.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and healthcare reimbursement policies.
  • Represent the company with key stakeholders, including policymakers and medical associations.



Channel Partner Management

  • Strengthen the relationship with the existing distributor network.
  • Provide commercial and technical guidance to partners to support sales success.
  • Oversee day-to-day operational and tactical activities to ensure business continuity.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years' experience in sales management within the medical equipment (not devices or consumable of medicines) industry.
  • Proven success in capital equipment sales, technical training, and key account management.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and strong business acumen in the South African healthcare landscape.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (up to 60%).
