Our Client is a leading insurance and financial services group with operations across Mauritius, Seychelles, and East Africa.

Description du poste

Overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations and financial performance of the Seychelles branch

Preparation, monitoring, and control of the branch budget

Business development and growth of the local portfolio, in close coordination with the Country Head of Client Management

Leadership and management of the Seychelles team

Primary point of contact with local regulators and statutory bodies, including the Financial Services Authority Seychelles

Ensure full compliance with Seychelles insurance regulations, AML/CFT requirements, and Group policies

Coordination of regulatory reporting, inspections, and audits

Regular operational and financial reporting to Head Office

Profil recherché

should have:

  • A strong background in operations management within the insurance industry.
  • Professional insurance qualification (Dip CII or equivalent) is an advantage
  • Minimum 7-10 years' relevant experience, preferably in insurance or a regulated financial services environment
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams.
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive process improvements.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A results-driven approach with a focus on achieving organisational objectives.
  • Strong communication skills in English (French is also plus )
