Our client is a leading international export group with operations across Africa and Europe. The group manages significant trade volumes and complex treasury operations, with a turnover of €800M, 20 entities (including Mauritius, France, and Luxembourg).

Description du poste

As Senior Treasury Officer, you will play a strategic role within the Group Treasury team (6 pax), managing high-volume transactions and mitigating currency risks. Your responsibilities include:

  • Foreign Exchange Risk Management:
    • Handle multi-currency transactions (buy in USD/EUR, sell in various currencies).
    • Implement hedging strategies and manage forex exposure.
  • Trade Finance & Payment Solutions:
    • Structure financing solutions (credit, structured finance) for exports to West Africa.
    • Negotiate trade finance instruments with banks and partners.
  • Treasury Operations:
    • Oversee front-office activities and supervise one team member (with back-office support).
    • Optimize treasury processes across 150 bank accounts (offshore and onshore).

Profil recherché

Technical Expertise:

  • Proven experience in FX risk management, trade finance, and treasury optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of hedging, negotiation, and treasury products.



Profile & Skills:

  • Proactive, strategic thinker, and able to add value beyond execution.
  • Excellent stress management and ability to handle high volumes (USD 300-400M).
  • Bilingual (French & English).
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and deadline-driven.
