The Group Head of Finance will lead finance operations for our client and its subsidiaries. This keyleadership role will deputise for the CFO as delegated and ensure accurate accounting andreporting, effective financial controls and cash management, and strong financial governance.

Job Description

  • Lead the Group's finance strategy and act as a key advisor to senior leadership on financial matters. Ensure strong governance, compliance, and risk management.
  • Oversee financial reporting and consolidation, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, audited financial statements, intercompany reconciliations, and compliance with IFRS and USALI standards.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance management, providing financial analysis, challenging assumptions, and supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Manage accounting operations and capital expenditure, ensuring accurate management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, project accounting, fixed assets control, and budget monitoring.
  • Ensure robust internal controls, tax compliance, and audit management, maintaining policies and procedures while coordinating internal and external audits.
  • Oversee treasury and working capital, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, financing activities, debt obligations, and foreign exchange exposure.
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives, driving process standardisation, automation, AI adoption, shared services efficiency, and continuous improvement of financial systems.
  • Develop and lead finance teams, ensuring talent development, succession planning, stakeholder management, and strong business partnering with operational leaders to improve profitability and efficiency.



The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified Finance Professional (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent) with strong technical accounting expertise.
  • 10-15+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership positions within large, complex or multi-entity organizations.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, audit, and internal controls.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience managing external audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience leading finance transformation projects, process improvements, automation, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, develop, and motivate finance teams.
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management capabilities, able to influence executive leadership and operational teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of balancing long-term vision with operational execution.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in a multinational or regional environment would be a significant advantage.
