The Group Maintenance Manager is responsible for defining, structuring, and leading the Group's maintenance strategy in order to improve industrial performance, equipment availability, and cost control across all sites (approximately 10 to 15 sites).They act as both a technical and methodological reference, supporting Site Directors and local Maintenance Managers.

Job Description

Definition and Deployment of the Maintenance Strategy

  • Define the Group maintenance policy (preventive, corrective, predictive)
  • Establish common standards and frameworks
  • Implement an equipment reliability approach (Reliability / RCM)
  • Deploy industrial maintenance best practices



2. Site Audits and Diagnostics

  • Conduct regular maintenance audits across Group sites
  • Identify gaps, risks, and improvement priorities
  • Develop site-specific improvement roadmaps
  • Ensure follow-up and execution of action plans



3. Performance Improvement

  • Drive improvement of key performance indicators:
  • Equipment availability (OEE)
  • MTBF / MTTR
  • Maintenance costs
  • Deploy structured approaches such as:
  • Preventive maintenance programs
  • Condition-based / predictive maintenance
  • Equipment FMEA
  • Contribute to Lean / Operational Excellence programs



4. Team Structure and Capability Development

  • Support Site Maintenance Managers in:
  • Team organization
  • Skill development
  • Define technical training needs
  • Foster a maintenance culture focused on performance and reliability



5. Tools and Systems Management

  • Deploy or optimize a Group CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Standardize practices:
  • Work order management
  • Spare parts management
  • Implement consolidated Group dashboards



6. Cost Optimization

  • Drive maintenance cost reduction:
  • Inventory optimization
  • Supplier rationalization
  • Contribute to CAPEX investments:
  • Technical choices
  • Equipment maintainability



7. Technical Support and Projects

  • Provide support to sites on:
  • Complex breakdowns
  • Industrial projects
  • Integrate maintenance standards into new projects

Key Development Priorities

  • Structuring robust preventive maintenance across all sites
  • Deployment of a standardized Group CMMS
  • Establishment of reliable and consistent KPIs
  • Reduction of unplanned downtime
  • Development of predictive maintenance (IoT, sensors, data analysis)
  • Optimization of spare parts inventory
  • Improvement of OEE and critical equipment reliability
  • Deployment of methodologies such as RCM / FMEA / Lean Maintenance

The Successful Applicant

Education

Engineering degree (mechanical, electromechanical, industrial maintenance)Experience

10-15 years of experience in industrial maintenance

Strong multi-site experience preferred

Experience in FMCG / food industry is a plusTechnical Skills

Strong knowledge of:

Preventive / corrective / predictive maintenance

Reliability concepts (MTBF, MTTR, FMEA, RCM)

Good understanding of industrial equipment

CMMS experience

Knowledge of Lean / continuous improvement toolsSoft Skills

Strong transversal leadership (without direct authority)

Analytical and structured mindset

Results-oriented

Ability to work in a multicultural environment

Strong field presence
