Job Description

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts for multiple entities within agreed deadlines.
  • Analyse monthly financial performance, identify key business drivers and investigate material variances.
  • Produce monthly management reporting packs including KPI analysis and commentary.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and liquidity reports.
  • Prepare and review IFRS-compliant statutory financial statements.
  • Prepare and review tax computations and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare complex balance sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.
  • Review accounting entries and ensure compliance with accounting policies and IFRS.
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise directly with auditors to resolve audit queries.
  • Liaise with business units across multiple jurisdictions to obtain financial information and resolve accounting issues.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes.
  • Assist Group Reporting, Treasury, Corporate Finance and Tax teams with financial information and analysis.
  • Supervise and review the work of junior finance staff where required, providing coaching and guidance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls.
  • Perform any other duties as required by management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified or finalist (completion expected within 12 months).
  • 4-6 years' relevant experience.
  • Previous external audit experience (Big 4 or recognised audit firm preferred).
  • Experience within a commercial or multinational environment after audit will be a strong advantage.
  • Experience preparing statutory financial statements under IFRS.
  • Experience managing multiple entities simultaneously.
  • Previous experience supervising or reviewing junior staff is advantageous.



Technical Expertise

  • Strong IFRS knowledge.
  • Experience preparing annual financial statements
  • Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of month-end and year-end reporting processes.
  • Exposure to tax computations and audit coordination.
