The Senior Oracle Functional Consultant will play a key role in implementing and supporting Oracle solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements. This position in the Technology & Telecoms industry requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in Oracle systems and a passion for delivering results.

Job Description

Implementation and Support:

  • Implement Oracle Fusion modules including Accounts Receivables, Cash Management, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Order Management, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Supply Chain & Manufacturing.
  • Lead and support Oracle Cloud Fusion projects, ensuring successful implementation and post-go-live follow-up.



* Configuration and Testing:

  • Gather and document user requirements.
  • Configure systems and conduct internal testing.
  • Develop user test scripts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Perform configuration on the LIVE instance and manage data migration.



* Training and Documentation:

  • Train superusers and develop user guides.
  • Create business requirement design documents and review them for additional Oracle R12 modules.
  • Conduct Conference Room Pilot sessions for Oracle Project Management and Project Costing.



Technical Skills and Support:

  • Provide on-call support services to resolve customer issues.
  • Liaise with colleagues and clients to improve communication and teamwork.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Oracle Functional Consultant should have:

  • BSc in Accounting (Minor: Finance) from the University of Mauritius/BSC in Computer Science
  • ACCA Level 1 (Exemption) and Level 2
  • Certifications: Oracle Financials Cloud: Receivables 2016 and 2017 Certified Implementation Specialist.



Experience:

  • 5 - 8 years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R11 and Oracle Cloud Fusion.
  • Exposure to Crystal Report and SQL.
  • Previous role as Junior Auditor, with experience in applying IFRS policies and other accounting standards.



Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide optimal client solutions.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training sessions.
  • Proficiency in creating test scenarios and test scripts for integration testing.
