About Our Client

This organization operates within the FMCG industry, Tobacco business, North Africa region.

We are looking for a Finance Associate based in Casablanca to support the accounting and finance functions within the FMCG industry. This permanent role involves managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Job Description

Handle accounting transactions of group's entities in accordance with IAS/IFRS & local requirements to ensure full compliance with local and group's policies.
Ensure consistency in accounting treatment and drives harmonization of processes across entities
Review postings made for entities by Global Business Service Center including AP, AR, IC revenues, manual accruals, cash…
Account payables : Invoices submission, follow up of booking and payments, GRIR clearing
Creation and monitoring of fixed assets
Ensure the statutory closing in partnership with the external auditors
Manage compliance related to inventory, assets, and other operational controls within a factory.
Ensure month end closing process timely & accurately.
Assist in the preparation of the entity planning exercises.
Ensure the preparation of internal reports (Cbcr, JCFC, Insurance…).
Support with other projects, as necessary.
Define continuous improvement plans of processes, procedures, and systems to meet company objectives.

The Successful Applicant

Education: Master degree in Accounting/Finance or other related field
Experience: Minimum of 3 - 5 years working experience in accounting / finance in Big 4 audit firms or multinational corporate
Language Skills: French & English full professional proficiency .
Strong Knowledge of accounting software and reporting tools (e.g , SAP)

IFRS & Local GAAP Compliance
