Job Description
- -Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities,
- -Ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements in Kenya and Tanzania,
- -Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes,
- -Monitor working capital, cash flow, and inventory performance,
- -Partner with commercial and operational teams to support business growth and profitability,
- -Develop and implement financial controls and risk management procedures,
- -Coordinate external audits and maintain strong relationships with banks and regulatory authorities,
- -Analyze business performance and provide actionable recommendations to senior management,
- -Lead, mentor, and develop local finance teams.
The Successful Applicant
- -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field,
- -Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred,
- -Minimum 5 years of finance management experience within distribution, FMCG, retail, trading, or similar sectors,
- -Experience working across multiple African countries is essential,
- -Strong understanding of East African business environments,
- -Excellent analytical and leadership skills,
- -Fluent in English; Swahili is an advantage,
- -Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
