Job Description

  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to analyse financial data and trends.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support audits when required.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to aid decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • A recognised qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Must be a registered CA(SA).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A strong understanding of financial reporting and tax regulations.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
