Job Description

· Establish, maintain, and monitor adequate internal controls across all finance functions, including segregation of duties, approval limits, reconciliations, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

· Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial management reports to senior management.

· Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely annual audited financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and notes.

· Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with all Head of Departments and Head Office to develop and implement the budget.

· Monitor budget performance and provide analysis on variances between actual and budgeted figures on a timely basis to suggest any corrective actions.

· Develop financial forecasts and projections for the hotel management monthly and quarterly for the Board to assist in future planning.

· Coordinate and support external and internal audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and financial statements.

· Supervise and monitor all members performance of the Finance team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant completion of tasks, with prompt follow-up on control weaknesses, errors, and process gaps.

· Manage the company's cash flow with the Group Treasurer, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.

· Perform the tax computation on a monthly basis with the review of the Group Tax Officer.

· Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other financial stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A recognised qualification in accounting or finance, such as ACCA or CPA or bachelor degree in finance or related field

Strong leadership skills who will be capable of leading and managing a team effectively

The ideal candidate should also have prior experience working in a large hotel environment and has hospitality industry experience
