Job Description

The Distribution coordinator will be responsible for the following:

Technical Skills / Knowledge / Experience

*

Logistics knowledge throughout Africa will be advantageous

*

Industry experience will be advantageous within Transport and Logistics

*

Excellent in MS Office and experienced with business systems, including customer relationship software and ERP solutions (essential)

*

Knowledge of Pronto is highly desirable

*

Import and export experience including customs clearance and compliance.

*

Excellent ability to accurately record data and maintain documentation

*

Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines

*

Excellent team working skills preferably in a busy sales / service environment

*

Commitment to following health, safety, and compliance guidelines.

*

History of successfully working unsupervised

The Successful Applicant

A successful Distribution Coordinator should have:

Experience in logistics, distribution, or a related field within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
Strong organisational and planning skills to manage complex distribution processes.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and M/Excel
A solid understanding of compliance requirements and safety standards in logistics.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Must have their own transport and be able to travel in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
